My thanks to every one of our U.S. Military men and women for the personal sacrifices they have made, who have fought for our country and freedom, and laid their lives on the line for us. It is a debt we can never repay. ❤️

How to Thank a Veteran

⭐ Buy them a coffee or perform a similar kind of gesture.
⭐ Start a conversation. Ask how they are; when and where they served; what they did while in the service. Ask if there is something you could do to help them in that moment. You can even ask them what happened.
⭐ Be a good listener. A lot of Veterans want to share what happened, but they just don’t know how.

Where to Donate

If you’d like to donate, here are a few 501(c)(3) organizations that honor the sacrifices of our Veterans:

  • Fisher House Foundation — This program builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. They are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. https://fisherhouse.org
  • The Tunnel to Towers Foundation — This program builds mortgage-free “smart homes” for our most catastrophically injured Veterans. https://tunnel2towers.org
  • Wounded Warrior Project — WWP is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001. Warriors incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military. https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org
